I do know the autogen is not "created" by Ortho4XP but carried from default or OSM third party if provided. Not sure if that is correct.Įither way, the overlays (even default autogen) never show up after completion. I see the overall "folder" in that INI which is a single entry (rather than the individual folders in the "earth_nav_data" folder within). Further when I am done with the batch, I run XP12 and quit, setting the new tiles up to the bottom and the overlay just above. And I've set the X-plane 12/global scenery/x-plane 12 global scenery directory up as my custom_overlay_src directory. I've used my X-plane 12/Custom Scenery folder as base. I've been through a number of YT videos and online tutorials, but the bottom line, my overlays are never showing (even the default stuff) although I do get much improved ground imaging.
